Gordon Lustig is ISO Musical Director Assistant

Gordon Lustig is a guitarist, singer/songwriter, composer, arranger/orchestrator and music teacher. Upon teaching himself guitar Gordon has taught private students and classes since age 12. While still studying at the prestigious Dick Grove Music School in Los Angeles he became the composer of the television sit-com, “Foley Square” on CBS which was created and directed by Diane English. Gordon went on to compose the music for jingles, commercials, and many more tv shows including, “Chicken Soup” with Jackie Mason and Lynn Redgrave. He has also composed music that has been heard on NPR. At Dick Grove School, Gordon studied under the guidance of Henry Mancini, Nelson Riddle, Billy May, and countless other world class musicians. Gordon is also a tireless advocate of children’s music education and provides low priced ukulele, guitar, and banjo lessons to disadvantaged students in Northern California. In his “spare” time Gordon writes song parodies a la Tom Lehrer, Allan Sherman, Stan Freberg, and Weird Al. You can hear his music, humorous and not, on his website at gordonlustig.com
